About Us

Welcome to the Zambia Educational Journal for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (ZEJSTEM). The Directorate of the National Science Centre (DNSC) in the Ministry of Education (MOE), Zambia is the institutional home of the Zambia Journal of the Zambia Educational Journal for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (ZEJSTEM).

This Journal provides a platform for debate on issues related to the professional growth of teachers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). It focuses on Policy, Practice, and Research in teacher professional growth in Zambia. It also gives STEM learners a platform to showcase their research work with guidance from their teachers.

The objective is to produce a learner who is a critical, creative, and analytical thinker who relates thinking with real-life situations, and a problem solver, above all, a responsible citizen.

Zambia's STEM Education agenda is supported by its natural resources and land-linked position, requiring the development of values and productivity to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
