Call for Papers

The 2024 Call for Research Papers for the Zambia Educational Journal of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (ZEJSTEM) is open.

About ZEJSTEM

As an esteemed annual publication, ZEJSTEM releases both online and hard copy issues each December, providing a platform for groundbreaking research, innovative practice papers, and insightful book/paper reviews. We invite submissions that contribute to the advancement of STEM education and foster professional growth within the STEM community. The upcoming publication will be the third issue, Volume 3, Issue 1.

Submission Guidelines

Submit your manuscripts online at https://nsc.gov.zm/jn/index.html and join us in shaping the future of STEM education.

• The abstract of not more than 250 words is a necessity, followed by not more than five keywords reflecting the main terms on the essence of the paper. The title and the abstract, together with keywords, should be on the first page.
• The structure of the paper should contain the essential elements of a research paper logically organized into headings and sub-headings, followed by a reference list of not more than 1½ pages using the latest edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style for all sources referred to in the paper (in-text and reference list).
• The maximum length of the papers is:
  • 7,500 words (Research article)
  • 5,000 words (Practice paper)
  • 1,000 words for Book review (excluding abstract and references)
• Typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.15 text line spacing, and paper margins of 2.54 cm all round (top, bottom, left, and right).

Formatting Guidelines

Ensure that your paper follows these formatting styles:

• Paper Title: Times New Roman, 16 point, Bold, Centered, Capitalize the First Letter of Each Word except for articles, propositions, and conjunctions.
• Author Names: Times New Roman, 14 point, centered.
• Abstract: Times New Roman 12 point, Bold, Centered. Maximum of 150 words.
• Keywords: Times New Roman, 12 point, justified alignment.
• Sections and subsections should follow a logical structure using appropriate heading styles.

Optional statement to thank other contributors, assistance, or financial support.
